2019 is the 50th anniversary of the classic movie, The Italian Job, that lives for ever thanks to classic Michael Caine quotes, such as “Hold on a minute lads, I’ve got a great idea”. The associated visuals of the coach hanging over the edge of the cliff gave birth to Richard Wilson’s art installation of the same name that premiered in Bexhill for the London 2012 Olympic Games. It then went on to Hong Kong, and is now planned for Turin in October 2019 to coincide with the massive Artissima Art Show and the Torino Film Festival. Throw in some Minis and we’re good to go! Join Mark Hinchliffe, art collector and owner of The Chapel Harrogate, as he introduces the project and how you could be involved.
